- Place an order (call or see table below for help finding the right order)
- Call or page the appropriate division to discuss the case:
- MRN (have ready and include in your page)
- NPO status
- Allergies, especially contrast
- Consentability
- Sedation needs
- Coagulation issues

Who to call
Weekday and Weekend AM
After hours non-VIR emergencies: Weekend PM, night, holiday
For after hours cases that do not require emergent overnight intervention, please call the appropriate reading room after 7:30am.
VIR emergencies
970-7930 (pager) Please include the patient's MRN!
IR does NOT perform LPs, biopsies, abscess drains or arthrocentesis - for these, find the appropriate department here, or call 681-4422 after hours.
